Abbottstown, PA – The Atlantic Championship Series ended its 2014 season at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut over Labor Day weekend. The Championship was decided, and driver Daniel Burkett, who drove a Swift 016 for K-Hill Motorsports, took the title. Burkett was not the only K-Hill driver who was in the running for a spot in the top three Championship standings. Conner Kearby, another young driver, fought hard for third. After a very intense last race of the season, Kearby took fifth place in the Championship, giving K-Hill Motorsports, two top five titles.

Thompson, CT – The Atlantic Championship Series concluded its 2014 season with the finale race on Sunday at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut. Series Champion, Daniel Burkett, took the final win of the season, making it his eighth Atlantic win. Ethan Ringel of COMPREP finished in second with Keith Grant of Polestar finishing third, after a tight fight for the position with Conner Kearby.

Thompson, CT – Atlantic Championship Series 2014 Champion Daniel Burkett took his eighth and last pole of the season during Sunday’s qualifying session at Thompson Speedway. The K-Hill driver also reset the overall Thompson Speedway track record for a third time with a time of 1:01.608. Ethan Ringel of COMPREP was second quick after his Saturday win, followed by Polestar’s Keith Grant taking third. K-Hill Motorsport’s drivers, Conner Kearby and Gaston Kearby were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the session. Full results are here.

Thompson, CT – Ethan Ringel of COMPREP Motorsports took the win in race one of the Atlantic Championship Series 2014 Season finale weekend at Thompson Speedway. In the same race, K-Hill Motorsports’ Daniel Burkett clinched the Championship title, with one race left to go. Burkett was on the third step of the podium, with K-Hill teammate Conner Kearby in second place.
