Keyvan Andres Claims Back-to-Back Wins at Watkins Glen

No. 47 Keyvan Andres Swift 016/MazdaWatkins Glen, NY - Sitting at the pole position, K-Hill Motorsports team member and driver of the No. 47 car, Keyvan Andres came out of turn one in the lead at the start of race two, putting him in position to win his second Atlantic Championship Series race in two days at Watkins Glen. Andres then continued to pull away from the rest of the field as the race continued, gaining a nearly four second lead by the tenth lap. Completing the podium was Keith Grant in second, followed by Garth Rickards in third.


Andres Qualifies First for Race Two

No. 47 Keyvan Andres Swift 016/MazdaWatkins Glen, NY - After an intense back and forth battle for the pole position during the second round of qualifying at Watkins Glen for the Atlantic Championship Series Keyvan Andres came out on top. Andres had the fastest time of the weekend so far with a time of 1:41.530. Second quickest for the session was Keith Grant with a time of 1:41.669. Keyvan Andres Makes an Impressive Debut

No. 47 Keyvan Andres Swift 016/MazdaWatkins Glen, NY - K-Hill Motorsports dominated the podium for round three of the Atlantic Championship Series as cloudy skies hovered over Watkins Glen International. Rain held off however for the thirty minute race and allowed Keyvan Andres to take the win after a decisive pass on Conner Kearby, who finished second ahead of F1600 graduate Garth Rickards.


Conner Kearby takes the Pole Position at Watkins Glen

No. 56 Conner Kearby Swift 016/MazdaWatkins Glen, NY - With the sun finally out and the track nearly dry, Atlantic cars were able to take to the grid for the first qualifying session of the weekend at Watkins Glen. Conner Kearby took the pole position with the fast time of 1:42.382, only to have Keyvan Andres on his tail with a time of 1:42.676. Garth Rickards finished third with a time of 1:43.030. Behind Rickards was fast time setter during practice Keith Grant, who finished with a time of 1:43.061. Click here for full results. 

Keith Grant Back for More at Watkins Glen, Fastest in Practice

No. 40 Keith Grant Swift 016/MazdaWatkins Glen, NY - Polestar Racing Group driver Keith Grant was able to put down the fast time for both practice one and two on Friday at Watkins Glen ahead of rounds three and four of the Atlantic Championship Series. In practice one he finished with a time of 1:43.690 and then had an even more impressive lap time of 1:42.805 in practice two, narrowly edging out Keyvan Andres for the top spot.
