Burkett Dominates Opening Atlantic Championship Series Weekend

Daniel Burkett out front for K-HillBraselton, GA – The second and final race of the 2014 inaugural weekend for the Atlantic Championship Series at Road Atlanta completed with Canadian Daniel Burkett, driving a K-Hill Motorsports’ Atlantic Car, turning his second pole position into a second win in dominating fashion. Next to him on the podium was K-Hill teammate Conner Kearby, who finished second, and Polestar’s Keith Grant in third.


Burkett Lays Down a 1:16 Flat for Pole

Daniel BurkettBraselton, GA – K-Hill Motorsports’ Daniel Burkett repeated his qualifying performance from Saturday by taking pole position for race two of the Atlantic Championship Series’ 2014 season at Road Atlanta.


Burkett Bolts to Road Atlanta Victory

Daniel BurkettBraselton, GA – Daniel Burkett, driving for K-Hill Motorsports, started from pole and led throughout the entire race at Road Atlanta to open up a gap en route to the first win of the 2014 Atlantic Championship Series. Jimmy Simpson, in the Atlantic Creations entry, was second with Keith Grant rounding off the podium in his No. 40, with all three drivers in Swift 016s.


Burkett Secures Pole for Race One and Sets New Track Record

Daniel BurkettBraselton, GA -  Fifteen Atlantic cars took the track for this morning’s qualifying session for the opening round of the 2014 Atlantic Championship Series season at Road Atlanta, with two drivers under the previous track qualifying record. Daniel Burkett, driving for K-Hill Motorsports, set a new track record of 1:17.0 securing pole position for the Atlantic race of the weekend. Jimmy Simpson of Atlantic Creations was also under the previous record and will start beside Burkett on the front row.


Ringel Out Front in Atlantic Practice

Ethan RingelBraselton, GA- The Atlantic Championship Series rolled out onto the 12-turn Road Atlanta track this morning for their official first practice of the season. Fifteen Atlantic cars took the track for practice, increasing the field by 50 percent from the first Road Atlanta 2012 practice, with Ethan Ringel leading the way for COMPREP over two Friday sessions.
