Grant, on his own birthday notably, led from pole uncontested for 18 laps, with brother and Polestar teammate Keith Grant finishing second in the No. 40 Swift 014/Toyota ahead of Jason Byers, in the No. 28 Swift 014/Toyota.

The organizers of the Atlantic Championship Series will be hosting the first Atlantic Town Hall Meeting at 5:00PM on Friday May 11 at Road Atlanta to discuss the future direction of the class and the balance of the 2011 schedule.

All team principles, team managers, drivers, car owners and engineers are invited, whether or not racing in the Road Atlanta event , to attend and participate in the discussion.
