No. 40 Keith Grant Swift 016/MazdaLexington, OH – Securing the pole position for race two of the Atlantic Championship Series at Mid-Ohio with a time of 1:16.266 is Polestar’s Keith Grant. Not only did he qualify first but also set a new track record, over the time he set on Saturday. The No. 40 driver is making up for some bad luck he had in race one of the weekend when he was unable to finish. Starting in second for race two is race one winner Conner Kearby who had a time of 1:16.727 and in third is Gaston Kearby with a time of 1:18.067. Full results available here. 

No. 56 Conner Kearby Swift 016/MazdaLexington, OH – After a dramatic race one of the Atlantic Championship Series at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Conner Kearby took first place after having the lead early on in the race, falling back, and then fighting for his position in the closing stages. Gaston Kearby took a second place finish and Connor Burke came in third for the first of two races this weekend.

Despite having lap times over Grant more than once during the session, Conner Kearby will start second for race one with a qualifying time of 1:16.644. Second fastest for the day was the young Conner Kearby who had a time of 1:16.919 and in third was Gaston Kearby with a time of 1:19.433.

Now, it’s rounds seven and eight at Mid-Ohio as Keith Grant, on two victories, leads the point standings against much younger competition. Aiming for Grant’s points lead at Mid-Ohio will be Conner Kearby, who has separated himself from the pack and hopes to run down Grant’s margin over two 40-minute races this weekend.

No. 56 Conner Kearby Swift 016/MazdaConner Kearby has had a great season in the Atlantic Championship Series so far with a win at Road Atlanta, giving him an amazing start to the year. Along with that, he has had two more podium finishes over the course of six races putting him in position to compete for the title with eight races to go. The K-Hill Motorsports driver is also apart of the younger crew of drivers that are pushing the limits on the track.
